Gerald Michael Roach 50, of Lake City, Florida passed away after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer and stroke on May 18, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Gerald Michael Roach was born to Sandra Roach on July 22, 1966 in Gallipolis Ohio. He married Susan Deubler on December 23, 1994 in Gainesville, Florida. He graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville and Southern Columbia University with Associates degrees. He worked as a Firefighter/Paramedic for Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department for 20 years. He was a veteran of Operation Just Cause in Panama...

Gerald Michael Roach 50, of Lake City, Florida passed away after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer and stroke on May 18, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Gerald Michael Roach was born to Sandra Roach on July 22, 1966 in Gallipolis Ohio. He married Susan Deubler on December 23, 1994 in Gainesville, Florida. He graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville and Southern Columbia University with Associates degrees. He worked as a Firefighter/Paramedic for Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department for 20 years. He was a veteran of Operation Just Cause in Panama and served in the Navy. He was involved in Fire Rescue Administration and member of the Florida Fire Chief's Association. He enjoyed sitting on the front porch with his wife and family. He was an avid baseball fan especially the Chicago Cubs.

Gerald Michael Roach is survived by his wife, Susan Roach; son, Joey Duebler (Kimi); daughter, Emily Roach; son, Casey Roach; and son ,Tavaris Williams; grandchildren, Lilly and Amiya; and mother, Sandra Roach.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. J. Day, and the Baptist Medical Center- Downtown Emergency Department and Neuro ICU (Weaver 10) staff for their compassion and care provided.
